Besides being able to play MP3, WMA and WAV files, it also comes with FM radio and voice recording features. The audio quality is acceptable. The finishing, however is very exquisite. This sleek-looking player also feels very good in the palm with its well-rounded and well-shaped rubber/plastic finishing.Though the Exigo-181 is cheap (price-wise), contrary to what most would think, it is very durable thanks to its strong plastic/rubber casing unlike other players in the budget range. The defect rate for this player is very low. The Exigo-181 would function very well as an entry-level MP3 player, a sports-usage MP3 player, a classroom voice-recorder and a data-storage flash-drive. Though 128MB may seem too small, it is still adequate to contain 60 WMA-coded songs. The built-in FM radio would add another 20 preset stations of audio entertainment for more than enough music than you need at a small fraction of the price what you otherwise would have to pay. The machine is extremely suitable for long outdoor trips like cycling and hiking where high-end recharable MP3 players would not last and the supplied neck-strap earphones could make it very convenient and comfortable to enjoy music. Pros:* Extreme low-price for a comprehensive feature player with FM Radio and voice recording.* Direct-USB Interface for convenience (without having to carry another USB cable) doubling as a flash-drive. * Encrypted USB flash-drive for data protection. * Very comfortable to hold and feel with ergonomically designed durable rubber/plastic casing. * Esthetically well-designed and sleek-built rubber/plastic casing. * Extremely durable and practical built. This machine could really rock... If you have a pair of high-end earphones from your Walkman or portable CD player, you would be able to listen to very good music from this budget player that are comparable to players double or triple its price. The Espidi-168F functions very well as a general-purpose MP3 player that can be used for sporting activities, as a classroom voice-recorder and as a computer data-storage flash-drive. The 1GB of flash storage space could contain 250 MP3 songs (or 500 WMA songs) which is more than adquate to meet most people's requirements. The battery life-span of 10 hrs is average.The built-in FM tuner radio, though not the best around, could provide you with 20 additional preset stations of stereo (not mono) music. At this price for a very durable machine with so many features, it is definitely a good buy.
